how lovely it is to have spontaneous friends who think of you on a random week day when they have two extra red sox tickets!
if i'm being perfectly honest, i haven't followed the red sox since they won the world series in 2013.. i couldn't even tell you a single player's name on the team.. worse fan ever. but a day at fenway surrounded by good friends, beer and yummy food can't get any better.
ben and i were at home and planning on spending the day doing chores when he received a call from our friend asking if we were both off and available for an afternoon game (thankfully we work weird jobs with even weirder hours with random week days off).. so naturally, we ditched our chores and a few hours later we were heading to boston.
the weather was lovely with the perfect amount of summer lingering behind. our seats were even better and the red sox won! it was an awesome day! thanks for thinking of us lauren and jeremy!
