When you have to pick up your aunt from the airport, you head to the city early and make a day of it... especially because Boston is 30 minutes away and we don't visit it nearly enough.
We stopped for lunch at an amazing Brazilian steakhouse, Fogo De Chao. The meats melt in your mouth, the salad bar is gigantic, and the fried bananas are a perfect dessert. Make sure to go hungry because the food just keeps coming until you tell them to stop... my kind of place!
We then strolled around the city hand in hand; ducking into little shops on Newbury Street, admiring the brownstones and parks, watching street entertainers. Escaped from the heat at L.A. Burdick for iced chocolatey drinks that were thick, rich and delicious. Note to self: next time, share a drink and don't get dessert to go with it. Washing chocolate down with chocolate is sometimes a little too much chocolate!
Guys... they have a whole store of Harry Potter stuff! I can't believe I had no idea such a place existed!
