we had so many family and friends join us for our destination wedding in punta cana and wanted some personal way to welcome them into their hotel room. so i put together these goodie bag filled with some essentials and the itinerary for our wedding events.
i found the bags and all the fillings at target, made the paper products on vistaprint and the final product took only a short time to put together when we arrived.
all inclusive resorts are great but after eating the same types of food for a week, some more home-like snacks are refreshing. i grabbed a few different kinds of bars and mixed nut packets as well as gum.
i packed the bags with mini cans of sunblock (in case people forgot.. which they did) because the caribbean sun can be very unforgiving and lip balm.
and of course pepto bismol, just in case (thankfully i don't think anyone needed it) and advil for the pesky hangovers.
we decided to plan a casual get together on the night before our wedding so everyone would be able to get to know each other and then an informal breakfast the morning after the wedding. we put the details for these events into an itinerary and had these cute cards printed on vistaprint.
we also made business cards with our hashtags for our guests to share their photos with us!
so, if you're hosting your wedding in a location where people are staying the night in a hotel, these cute little welcome bags seemed very much appreciated by our guests and i highly recommend making them!
