Our Punta Cana Wedding Ceremony

when ben and i decided to get married in punta cana, i started creating this vision in my head.. the music, the waves crashing behind us, the flowers, my groom at the end of the aisle and our family and closest friends surrounding us. the other thing i started to do was tell myself not to get disappointed if things didn't turn out exactly as planned.. after all, i planned the entire wedding through pictures and via email and we had never actually visited the resort. i had no idea what our wedding day would look or feel like.. but, it is an understatement when i tell you i was absolutely blown away. dreams punta cana resort and spa  completely surpassed my every vision and expectation. september 7, 2018 was the most perfect day of my life. remember the post awhile back about our engagement ( here ) when i told you i wrote it for myself so i could look back one day and relive every detail.. these wedding posts are exactly the same. because i have so many pictures, i'm going t...

can we hold on to these warm sweet summer days for a tiny bit longer? i’m loving that autumn is here but this summer topped all my summers and i’m not quite ready for it to be over yet..  - - -  cape cod in the summertime is such a lovely place. the beaches are warm, the seafood is out of this world, the colors are vibrant.. and when you're with amazing company you most definitely can't beat it.  my auntie jeanne lives in california and usually only visits during the christmas holiday season. christmas and her are synonymous.. and the only christmas she wasn't able to come back home, i wrote a paper in elementary school about how that was all i wanted from santa. so, needless to say, she has figured out a way to return to the east coast every christmas since!  this year she was able to visit for almost a month in July which was perfect as she was here for my wedding shower and ben and i got to spend a night with her at the cape! it was a short but very s...
